Tails and Tales Summer Reading Clubs for all ages!

Join the Tails and Tales Summer Reading Clubs, open now to everyone in Woodbridge Township!

Sign up online or visit the Main library, Fords, Henry Inman (Colonia) or Iselin branches. Read or listen to stories all summer, record your reading and win prizes.

The Children Club is for children up to 7th Grade.
The Teen Club is for students in 8th through 12th Grade.
The Adult Club is for everyone aged 18 and up.

Want even more than a bonus to your reading? All summer long you can participate in crafts, programs and games! 

Want to get crafty?
All locations have take-home craft and activity kits available. Check the library calendar for ages, dates and times to pick-up these kits to complete at home. 

Want to watch, listen and learn?
Tune in to our Youtube Channel anytime for children's storytimes and recorded talks for everyone from experts in tons of interesting fields! And coming in July, look for outdoor in-person programs at all locations (weather permitting).

Grab & Go Craft - Children all ages

For children, preschool - grade 7, stop by your local Woodbridge Public Library branch ( Main, Fords, Henry Inman, or Iselin) and take a craft to make at home! Every Monday we will provide "Grab and Go" kits for all ages. Please only take what you need so many can enjoy the fun!  One kit per child per week.  All necessary supplies will be provided with the exception of glue/glue sticks, scissors, markers, crayons, or tape if needed. Grab and Go's will be available for free starting 11:00 AM on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last.

SRP - Virtual - Stories of Travel by Stagecoach & Horse

This program presented by the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts looks at various aspects related to horse-powered travel, including primary source document accounts of what it was like to travel by stagecoach. It will also explore the wide range of horse-powered vehicles that were on the road in the 19th century and what it meant to have a horse as your “engine.”

Grab & Go: Side Walk Chalk - Children all ages

For children, preschool - grade 7, stop by your local Woodbridge Public Library branch ( Main, Fords, Henry Inman, or Iselin) and take a bag of coloring chalk home to decorate your home patio or sidewalks with chalk art.  Please only take what you need so many can enjoy the fun!  One kit per child per week. Grab and Go's will be available for free starting at 11:00 AM on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last.
