Social Security is one of the largest and most stable sources of income for the majority of retirees.  As such, prior to reaching retirement, it is important to understand how the system works and what benefits you are entitled to.  Woodbridge native, Andy Panko will explain the history of Social Security, how the system is funded, how to become eligible for benefits, at what ages you can start receiving benefits, how payment amounts are calculated, and steps you can take to maximize benefits for you and your family.  He will also cover relevant current events and opinions regarding the future of the system.

Andy Panko is a Woodbridge native who now resides in Edison with his wife and two daughters.  He has 19 years of professional experience at multiple global insurance companies, brokerages and investment banking organizations.  He is also the owner of a tax return preparation company, Tenon Tax Preparation LLC.

Andy holds the Certified Financial Planner (“CFP®”) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (“RICP®”) designations, and has completed the requirements necessary to obtain the IRS Enrolled Agent designation.  He has an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Delaware and a Masters of Business Administration from Rutgers University.  Furthermore, Andy previously taught four semesters of finance courses as an adjunct lecturer for Rutgers Business School.
