Don Buzney, host of “The Veterans Corner” on Rutgers University Radio, WRSU - 88.7 FM, will give us a look into how a thousand year old language became the unbreakable code that helped the U.S. Marines win the war in the Pacific in WWII. 

Don hosts “The Veterans Corner” on Rutgers University Radio, WRSU - 88.7 FM. Guests have included former NJ Governor Christie Whitman, NJ Senator Corey Booker and Marine Major General John Toolan calling in from Helmand Province, Afghanistan. A former U.S. Marine officer and Vietnam combat veteran, Don was born in Ohio, raised in Venezuela, is fluent in Spanish, and has a master’s degree from Loyola - Chicago, in Industrial Relations. He was a crew member on the SS United States and worked for the Navajo Nation in New Mexico, where he enjoyed many interactions with the Navajo Code Talkers. He has spent most of his career as a Human Resources executive in the casino industry.
