Special Money Smart Week Presentation by Woodbridge native Andy Panko regarding income tax. He'll present a broad overview of the income tax system. Topic that will be covered include-- how the income tax system works, what sources of income are taxed and which aren't, how to file your income tax returns, and basic strategies to minimize tax.
Andy Panko is a Woodbridge native who now resides in Edison with his wife and two daughters. He has 19 years of professional experience at multiple global insurance companies, brokerages and investment banking organizations. He is also the owner of a tax return preparation company, Tenon Tax Preparation LLC.
Andy holds the Certified Financial Planner (“CFP®”) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (“RICP®”) designations, and has completed the requirements necessary to obtain the IRS Enrolled Agent designation. He has an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Delaware and a Masters of Business Administration from Rutgers University. Furthermore, Andy previously taught four semesters of finance courses as an adjunct lecturer for Rutgers Business School.
