Event Details

It’s been 50 years since the Apollo missions led the way for human space exploration. Paul Cirillo of the New Jersey Astronomical Association will walk us through what's been accomplished since then and will teach us about the human space programs planned by the United States, China, Russia, and four U.S. commercial companies! Space gateways, moon bases, a journey to Mars and even space tourism will be discussed!

Paul is a board member of the New Jersey Astronomical Association, which operates the largest public observatory in New Jersey.  He was also the founder of Somerset County’s 4-H Space & Astronomy Club and its leader for ten years.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University and is an outreach “Ambassador” for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
