Celebrate Black History Month! This virtual program surveys the life and achievements of, in the words of the editors of Ebony magazine, "one of the most phenomenally gifted Americans." An athlete, actor, singer, lawyer, scholar and activist, Paul Robeson rose to prominence at a time when segregation was legal. Before long, he was an advocate for the civil rights of people around the world. This program will consider the highlights of Paul Robeson's extraordinary life, with time for Q & A.

American Labor Museum advances public understanding of the history of work, workers and the labor movement throughout the world, with special attention to the ethnicity and immigrant experience of American workers.
