Join us virtually as we discuss some of the most notorious ghost stories and folklore of New Jersey with Professor James Judge! This presentation will include information on-- Shades of Death Road in Warren County, The Devil’s Tower in Alpine NJ, The Haunted High School in Lambertville, and the legend of the Jersey Devil.

James earned his undergraduate degree in History and graduate degree in U.S. History from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania, having graduated from the University Undergraduate Honors Program with a thesis on Roman Military History. Jamie began his professional career in higher education in 2007 as an adjunct professor at Delaware County Community College and Neumann University, both in Pennsylvania. He was later hired to a full-time history faculty position in the spring of 2011 at Rowan College at Burlington County in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. Since then, he has served in many leadership roles including Head of the History Department, Liberal Arts Department Chair, and President of the Faculty Senate. His career at RCBC has also afforded opportunities to attend, as well as speak, at various workshops, conferences, and for historical societies throughout New Jersey and beyond. Some of his many speaking topics include “Comparing and Contrasting The Golden Age and Decline of Rome with the U.S.”, “Sally Hemings and Her Relationship with Thomas Jefferson”, and “From Herbalists to Witches: The Salem Witch Trials”.
