January is National Hot Tea Month! To celebrate, we welcome you to learn more about your favorite hot beverage by attending Tea 101 with Catherine Felegi on Thursday, January 10 7PM at the Iselin Branch Library.

Many myths and confusions exist around tea. When did it come about? What teas are good for you and which should you steer clear of? Join Catherine Felegi, blogger and founder of Tea Love: Instilling a Love of Tea, One Sip at a Time, as she guides you through the world of tea in her talk, Tea 101. There, she will give an introduction on tea, delve into the science behind the beverage, answer questions, and offer a sampling of some of her favorites supplied by New Jersey local Clara Ngo. Bring your own mug and join her for a cuppa!

Catherine Felegi has been a tea addict (not to be confused with connoisseur, as she will drink any cuppa that she finds to be delicious) since her early years. Upon graduating from college in 2010 (and finding herself quite under-employed) she decided to launch her, blog Tea Love: Instilling A Love Of Tea, One Sip At A Time. Though now she enjoys a much better position in life, she still holds her favorite beverage near and dear to her heart (and lips). Check out her website @ cafelegi.wordpress.com
